Hello, Cindy and I attended the Bowen Association Australia International Bowen Therapy Conference held in Cairns North Queensland.
It was held from the 2nd to the 4th of September 2016 and proudly representing the State of Queensland Australia in my Maroons Jersey…
We had a ball at the Meet & Greet on Friday 2nd of September 2016.

Saturday the 3rd Rolls On…

: President Chris Reed of the Bowen Association Australia in his welcoming address said, live the moment… And we sure did!!

: Ossie & Elanie Rentsch address the assembly and it was great to hear that the Bowen World is doing well!… Later in the day Mrs Elaine Rentsch had the opportunity to speak and chose the topic of how meeting Tom Bowen changed her life and that of her husband and how the first round of notes were put together.

: Keynote Speaker Mr John Coleman on Lyme Disease: Stealth Infections in Austalia. Having worked with John over a decade ago (via phone) in regards to treating Parkinson’s Desease… It was wonderful to finally shake his hand. http://www.returntostillness.com.au/

: Joanne Clark presented and informative piece on the Healing language and neurology with respect to Neuro Linguistic Programming. (Sorry my Phone Cam could not reach)

: Tina Price and Sam Hamilton presented together. Tina spoke with much emotion of her sojourn to the cyclone prone country of the Philippines. Where she and other volunteers worked on trauma victims with Bowen Therapy. There was not a dry eye in the house!

: Sam Hamilton and Tina Price presented together. Sam spoke candidly about the horrors of war torn Burma. Where she volunteered to work on trauma victims suffering PSTD with Bowen Therapy. A box of tissues was required!

: Robyn Barraclough presented Bowen Therapy And Tissue Salts with an interesting view on Facial Diagnostics! (Again my Phone Cam could not reach)

: Mauro Morganti spoke on treating childhood constipation with Bowen technique – This is of world wide concern and is well worth the time to contact Mauro if you have questions about treatment.

: Georgi llchev presented research done in Bulgaria on the subject of the effectiveness of Bowen Therapy for colic in Babies.

: Lorna Mair and Christos Miliankos Co Presenters For The online Bowen Management System – An awesome achievement!

: Michael Quinlivan presented The Clinical Process – Assessment, treatment, rehabilitation! Michael’s aim was a common sense approach to running your clinic!

: Helen Mary Perkins presented To Cairns and Outback. I have respected this lady for many years, and to hear her speak about her adventures in outback Australia reinforced that feeling… Now she resides in the U.K. and is still a worldwide distributor of Bowen Supplies.

: Shalii Sinha presented Dynamic flowing Bowen business Her aim is to raise the standing of Bowen around the world by supporting qualified Bowen Practitioners to achieve success!

: Margaret Spicer – Exploring Potentials – Margaret explored the myriad of differing reactions to a Bowen move… With an ever- increasing knowledge, the potential for Bowen as a wellness modality is enormous

: Anne Schubert – There we were then and here we are now – Joined on Stage by Mr and Mrs Rentsch. An overview of the Bowen Technique in Australia from inception to the present day… It was fantastic!!!

It was wonderful to be at this event and to enjoy meeting Practitioners that had come from all over the world for this Bowen Therapy Conference… But all good things sadly must come to an end!!
I would like to also personally thank the BAA committee for all their hard work for hosting the International Conference in North Queensland… I can only hope they consider Townsville somewhere in the future.
