From humble beginnings… With a Queenslander house at 48 Bowen Road Townsville… Benjamin Setter established the first Bowen Therapy pain relief clinic in his hometown of Townsville in 1991. Having been taught by the Bowen Therapy Academy of Australia, the original source material is from Bowtech. The original Bowen Technique was established by Oswald and Elaine Rentsch in circa 1987 who were taught by Mr Tom Bowen himself.
This technique has been taught over the years in a variety of settings. However, it is now delivered in a Certificate IV and Diploma of Specialised Bowen Therapy taught by Bowen Training Australia.

Benjamin has been fortunate to spend his entire professional career as a Bowen Therapist… He Lives and Breaths this wonderful healing modality. Having opened the first Bowen Therapy clinic in his home town of Townsville Australia and received his Diploma from Mr and Mrs Ossie & Elaine Rentsch back in 1991. Benjamin has not sat idle as he specialised in helping those needing Chronic Pain Relief Management!
He has continued to study in line with the changing face of The Bowen Therapeutic Technique in Australia and have attained a Certificate IV in Bowen Therapy, and the Diploma of Specialised Bowen Therapy from the Border College Of Natural Therapies this training is now provided by Bowen Training Australia. To top it all he finally trained as an Instructor of Bowen Therapy, but due to the wonders of Fatherhood he has chosen not continue at this time… Today he still works tirelessly to bring the pain relief benefits of Bowen Therapy to the attention of his clients in Townsville and the global internet community via Facebook & LinkedIn.
