Why Does Bowen Therapy Not Combine With Any Other Modality?
One of the most frequently asked questions by both Clients and Professionals in Townsville is, “Why does Bowen Therapy not combine with any other modality?”
The creator of Bowen Therapy, Mr Tom Bowen, demonstrated that Bowen Therapy is less effective, or will cease to function at all, if any other modality was combined with his technique. This has been shown to be true by my own clients over the last two decades who have chosen to ignore this and have – for example – a massage after a Bowen Therapy Treatment. The results of the massage have stopped the Bowen Therapy. This, though, has sadly not stopped others from attempting to combine Bowen Therapy with other modalities, leading to a lot of misinformation about Bowen Therapy and its effectiveness as a treatment. When searching for Bowen Therapy, not just here in Townsville, Queensland or Australia, be sure you are receiving Bowen Technique and not a combination Technique.
