This vitamin is esswntial for normal growth and development and repair of tissues. Foods with a high Vitamin C content include green peppers, citrus fruits, strawberries, tomatoes and broccoli. It is important to note that Vitamin C is a water soluable vitamin which means you must take in adequate amounts daily.

Vitamin deficiencies can only be diagnosed with blood testing. However, ensuring that you and your family have a varied diet including foods which provide these vitamins and minerals, helps support your body in whatever endeavors you are trying to achieve.
